charybdis-dbg software package provides fast, scalable irc server, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install charybdis-dbg
charybdis-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the charybdis-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep charybdis-dbg *
You will get with charybdis-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
